Design of the Week : Okazaki Zyou

I discovered this model while browsing Google Warehouse, Google’s gallery of 3D objects, and used Google Translate to find out what this fine building was called, and Google Maps to discover its precise location.

Okazaki Zyou is located on Tokaido (the East Sea road). It’s a major thoroughfare in Japan running between Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe.

I looked for more information about the nearby town of Toyokawa and was amazed to find out that it is twinned with Cupertino, where Apple’s headquarters are located. Which goes to show that all roads lead to Apple!
