TCT Live Show 2012 starts tomorrow in Birmingham, UK. For two days, the international event for additive manufacturing, 3D printing and product development will gather the biggest 3D printing companies. 3D Systems, Stratasys, Objet, EnvisionTE, Arcam, Makerbot and Sculpteo will present their latest innovations. 5000 attendees came to the event in 2011. A steep growth is expected for this year’s edition.

We did it! Nora from the Sculpteo team got the iPhone 5 this morning at the Apple Store in Paris. Sandra took great pictures of her profile to create a custom Profile iPhone 5 case. Emilie 3D printed it in our facilities in the Pyrenees… A few hours later, Nora can now play with her new iPhone 5 protected in its unique custom precisely 3D printed case!
Paris Design Week just ended. It has been an extremely vibrant and intense week and we wanted to thank all of you for adopting Sculpteo as the trustworthy journeyman of your creations.

Forecasting and trends consulting company Nelly Rodi showed off the Sculpteo iPhone app, making the light on how we are disrupting customization and design with an innovative approach using 3D printing.

French Designer’s collective Particule 14 is giving an exhibition at Le Lieu Du Design until September 22. Brique it! gathers designs making use of bricks. It’s not directly related to 3D printing but definitively worth seeing.
