Autodesk New iPad App 123D Creature Integrates Sculpteo 3D Printing Cloud Engine

Autodesk partners with Sculpteo for the launch of their latest iPad app, 123D Creature.

This new app lets you create monsters on your iPad … and have them 3D printed by Sculpteo !

Samir Hanna, Vice President of Consumer Products at Autodesk, points out how apps like 123D Creature and 3D printing with Sculpteo make it easy now for everyone to create physical creative products:

“Now, for the first time, 123D Creature makes it easy for anyone to create a sophisticated creature on an iPad, and then have a 3D printed object delivered to their doorstep with a few swipes of their finger. Start with a simple skeleton made of digital clay. Using the multitouch screen, change the shape of your creature easily: thicken, stretch, sculpt your creature with the tools panel.

Your creature can then be airbrushed or you can add textures directly imported from your photo library. Adjust lighting and shadows, apply filters… Your creature has now a unique appearance, from very creepy to completely adorable !

3D print your creature with Sculpteo. 3D print it at Sculpteo with the “Click to Print” button. 123D Creature is fully integrated with Sculpteo. Your monster can be 3D printed in many different materials. We are also able to put any picture on your 3D print, this Background option is exclusively available at Sculpteo.
