Support Gilles Azzaro’s campaign on Kiss Kiss Bank Bank: Obama – Next Industrial Revolution

Last November at the 3D Print Show in London, Gilles Azzaro unveiled his new 3D Printed sculpture called “Obama – Next Industrial Revolution”. This monumental 3D Printed sculpture is the three-dimensional materialisation of President Obama’s voiceprint. The 3D voiceprint portrays an extract of President Obama’s February 2013 State of the Union Address.

After displaying his work at the 3D Print Show in London and Paris, Gilles Azzro is now taking on Kiss Kiss Bank Bank to go at 3D Print Show New York to show his piece of art. Kiss Kiss Bank Bank is a leading crowdfunding platform in Europe. Gilles Azzaro’s trying to raise 6000 euros. The money will mostly be used to pay for shipment.

Last November, he impressed Bre Pettis, co-founder of MakerBot, with his work.

The sculpture is interactive. A movement sensor activates the system and a laser beam scans the 3D recording to reveal the President’s words and message.

The work was printed using a 3D desktop printer and the housing designed by Patrick SARRAN.
