Austrian researchers from the Institute of Materials Science and Technology at the TU Vienna are setting a new world record with the development of a high-precision 3D printer capable of producing nanometer sized objects.
The technique is called two-photon lithography. What was at the time a research project, was highlighted a few months ago by Klaus Stadlmann, one of the PhD student leading the research.
It is now a reality as the team have made a major breakthrough at speeding up this printing technique. Take a look at this video, it is just amazing!
